PaCking Considerations:

  • Sturdy shoes, consider bringing hiking shoes if you think you might want to hike while you're there. You will not need them for the wedding but you might find that you want them.

  • Warm clothes, the nights get cold in the desert and the 30 minute ceremony will be outside. Bring your jackets, shawls or wraps!

  • Layers, the sun gets hot during the day.

  • A Bathing Suit, many of the rooms have personal hot tubs and there are saunas and soaking pools onsite in the spa.

  • Sunscreen & Sunglasses, the clear sunny skies Colorado is known for combined with the higher elevations means the sun is far hotter than you're accustomed to.

  • Chapstick, Lotion & Eyedrops,  Seriously, don't forget the chapstick. Its very dry in Colorado.

  • Formal wear, you're here for the wedding after all!  The ceremony will be on grass, consider this when choosing footwear.  Spooky or eccentric formal wear welcome as long as face paint, masks or overly costume-y items are avoided.  Gothic/spooky formal wear in celebration of Halloween with cool eccentric or dramatic makeup is fun and will look neat in the pictures.
